World Environment Day

The World Environment Day was celebrated by Haryana State Centre in association with G.B.N. Govt. Polytechnic, Nilokheri. The theme for the celebration this year was “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience”. Er. K.K. Mahajan, Environmental Professional was the Chief Guest and he also delivered the keynote address on the theme of the day.

The World Telecommunication and Information Society Day was celebrated by Haryana State Centre in association with State Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nilokheri. The theme for the celebration this year was “Digital Innovation for Sustainable Development”. Dr. Vrinda Gupta, Former Chairperson IEI, Haryana State Centre was the Chief Guest and she also delivered the keynote address on the theme of the day.

Engineers Day Celebration

The Institution of Engineers (India), Haryana State Centre celebrated 57 th Engineers' Day on September 16, 2024 at Om Sterling Global University, Hisar. The theme for the celebration this year was “Driving Sustainability with Engineering Solutions Embracing the Latest AI Driven Technologies”. Dr. Arun Goel, Professor and Head, Civil Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra was the Chief Guest. Er. Ombir Singh, Superintending Engineer, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Hisar was the Guest of Honour. Prof. Rajender Singh Chillar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Om Sterling Global Univesity, Hisar welcomed all the participants. Er. K.C. Sethi, Former Vice President IEI, presented the life sketch of Bharat Ratna Sir Visvesvaraya. Er. Suraj Sapra, Co-Founder & CSO, Meritto delivered the Keynote address on the theme of the day.
